Position

The Front Office Consultant will be responsible for product implementation within the Global Markets team. The Front Office Business Analyst will be part of the GM IT FO Squad, providing IT services, support, change requests, and projects related to Global Markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document user requirements, converting them into Functional Specifications.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Global Markets teams (business and their supporting functions), IT teams, and vendors.
  • Engage in discussions with business stakeholders to understand their needs and transform them into change or project initiatives.
  • Define system and data requirements, validating system design and processes from both functional and technical perspectives.
  • Develop and refine various business, functional, and testing requirements in collaboration with project stakeholders and vendors.
  • Configure solutions according to requirements.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the suite within Front Office, ensuring all product features are installed and utilized effectively.
  • Create test plans, test cases, and execute system testing.
  • Contribute to user training activities, including preparation of training guides and presentations.
  • Follow up with vendor support to resolve bugs and issues as needed.
  • Ensure technical and functional handover of projects and changes to relevant teams.
  • Assist in developing business and operational processes and system training materials when required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Front Office.
  • Expertise in multiple asset classes, including at least two of the following: IR vanilla and exotic derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, FX Derivatives, and Structured Derivatives.
  • Experience leading and delivering projects.
  • Proficiency in implementing and supporting v3.1 concerning front office capabilities.
  • Experience with both linear and non-linear product implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities.
  • Extensive exposure to Front Office Modules such as E-Tradepad, Simulation, Livebook, RTPM, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, and Risk Matrices.
  • Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes from front to back.
