Position

The Murex Front Office Business Analyst will be a vital member of the Global Markets IT - Front Office Squad team, responsible for providing IT services to the Global Markets team. The primary duties include engaging with business units, conducting analysis, developing requirements, and overseeing the execution of projects and change requests related to Global Markets. The role demands a proactive approach in understanding business needs and translating them into actionable initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document user requirements, translating them into Functional Specifications.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Global Markets teams, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Participate in discussions to understand business needs and define systems and data requirements.
  • Develop and refine business, functional, and testing requirements in conjunction with vendors as needed.
  • Configure Murex solutions according to requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the Murex suite of tools within Front Office.
  • Create test plans, execute system testing, and contribute to user training activities.
  • Ensure the technical and functional handover of projects to relevant teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Murex Front Office Business Analyst.
  • Extensive experience in setting up and validating interest rate curves.
  • Expertise in at least two asset classes, such as IR vanilla and exotic derivatives, equity derivatives, and FX derivatives.
  • Strong exposure to Murex Front Office modules and experience in Murex v3.1.
  • Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes from front to back.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Strong record of stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Degree or qualification in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration.
