Position

The Murex Front Office Business Analyst will be part of the GM IT Front Office Squad, responsible for providing IT services to the Global Markets team. This squad handles support, change requests, and projects related to Global Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to conduct analysis and develop requirements.
  • Review technical and functional designs, build and test solutions, and ensure proper project closure.
  • Act as a liaison between Global Markets teams and IT, as well as with vendors.
  • Document user requirements and transpose them into functional specifications.
  • Define system and data requirements; validate system designs and processes.
  • Develop and refine business, functional, and testing requirements, working alongside vendors.
  • Configure solutions per requirements and act as a subject matter expert for Murex tools used within Front Office.
  • Create test plans and execute system testing.
  • Contribute to user training activities and prepare training guides and presentations.
  • Follow up with vendor support to resolve bugs/issues.
  • Assist in the development of business and operational processes and system training materials.

Job Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Murex Front Office Business Analyst.
  • Extensive experience with interest rate curves and multiple asset classes (e.g., IR vanilla and exotic derivatives, Equity Derivatives, etc.).
  • Strong exposure to Murex Front Office modules and APIs.
  • Experience delivering projects and implementing Murex v3.1’s front office capabilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a bank or IT company.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership skills, and understanding of financial markets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
