The squad handles support, change requests, and projects related to Global Markets. Tasks:
- Analyze and document user requirements and translate them into Functional Specifications.
- Act as a key liaison with Global Markets teams (both business and their supporting functions), IT teams, and vendors.
- Participate in discussions with the business to understand their needs and transform them into change or project initiatives.
- Define systems and data requirements, validating systems design and processes from both functional and technical perspectives.
- Develop and refine business, functional, and testing requirements in support of projects and systems.
- Configure the solution according to requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Murex suite of tools used within Front Office, ensuring optimal functionality is utilized.
- Create test plans and test cases, executing system testing.
- Contribute to User Training activities through one-on-one discussions and preparation of training materials.
- Follow up with vendor support to address bugs and issues.
- Ensure technical and functional handover of projects and changes to relevant teams.
- Assist in developing business and operational processes and help create system training artifacts.
Job Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years as a Murex Front Office Business Analyst.
- Extensive experience in setting up and validating Interest rate curves, including for ARRs.
- Expertise in multiple asset classes (at least two of the following): Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, FX Derivatives, and Structured Derivatives.
- Knowledge of pricing, valuation, risk management, and sensitivities for exotic products.
- Strong exposure to FO Modules of Murex (E-Tradepad, Simulation, Livebook, RTPM, etc.).
- Experience with Flex API and Pricing API is advantageous.
- Proven experience in leading and delivering projects within the banking or IT sector.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a bank or IT company.
- Strong record of stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- In-depth understanding of financial markets, trading, and banking solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, capable of delivering under pressure and tight deadlines.
