Position

The Murex Front Office Support role involves providing essential support to traders and middle office users regarding daily issues such as PL/position mismatches and market data operations. The individual will configure curves and static data in Murex and write new pre-trade rules, as well as create and amend various trading tools and reporting structures. Additionally, the role includes participating in testing patch and version upgrades and assisting in the development of operational processes and training materials.

Responsibilities

  • Support traders and middle office users on daily issues including PL/position mismatches and market data.
  • Configure curves (rate, rate hedge, credit) and static data in Murex, including securities and currencies.
  • Write pre-trade rules and create or amend simulation views and strategies.
  • Conduct testing during patch and version upgrades to address any PL or Greeks issues.
  • Report progress on issues to management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing business and operational processes and training materials as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience as Murex Front Office Support.
  • Extensive experience in validating interest rate curves, including for ARRs.
  • Expertise in multiple asset classes, especially in exotic derivatives.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing, valuation, risk management, and sensitivities for exotic products.
  • Experience with FO Modules of Murex, including E-Tradepad and Pre-Trade Workflow.
  • Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
