Murex Market Risk Specialist

A reputed bank in the UAE is seeking a consultant expert in Market Risk, specifically in Value at Risk (VaR), FRTB, and SIMM. The successful candidate will join the Murex Market Risk team and will be responsible for collaborating with various IT teams across infrastructure and other divisions to deliver system solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Build strong relationships with users and stakeholders, managing their expectations.
• Actively participate in discussions with the business to understand needs and translate them into project initiatives.
• Develop and refine business, functional, and testing requirements, working closely with vendors as necessary.

Mandatory Skills:

• Highly skilled in Murex with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Market Risk, including expertise in VaR, SIMM, and FRTB.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of MLC is considered an advantage.
