Murex Market Risk Specialist

Reputed bank in the UAE is looking for a consultant expert in Market Risk (VaR, FRTB, and SIMM). The successful candidate will be part of the Murex Market Risk team and will work with different IT teams across infrastructure and other divisions to deliver system solutions for the business.

Work Conditions: Hybrid, Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Build a strong relationship and manage expectations with users and stakeholders.
• Act as an independent worker with multi-tasking capabilities.
• Participate actively in discussions with the business, understand their needs, and transform them into change or project initiatives.
• Develop and refine various business, functional, and testing requirements in support of the project and systems involved, collaborating with the vendor where required.

Mandatory Skills:

• Highly skilled specialist in Murex with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Market Risk, including VaR, SIMM, and FRTB.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of MLC is an added advantage.
