Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Murex system setup at the client, organize support teams, manage end-of-day procedures, and oversee the report delivery process.
  • Collect and provide detailed technical specifications/business requirement specifications.
  • Develop a generic data model and create datamart objects as required for reporting.
  • Reconcile report extraction output with on-screen/mreport output.
  • Analyze differences arising from filter condition changes, dynamic table flags, and launcher flags.
  • Assess datamart setup and table structures to identify redundant objects and minimize batch execution time while exploring possibilities for reusing objects.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience with MX3.1 Datamart.
  • Prior experience as a reporting Business Analyst.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Murex system, MX reporting architecture, data model, and Datamart configuration.
  • Familiarity with mxres configuration files and launcher flags.
  • Thorough knowledge of Datamart objects, including dynamic tables, feeders, and scanner templates.
  • Exposure to Mreports; experience with Mreport to Datamart migration is desirable.
  • Strong technical skills, with excellent knowledge of SQL (Sybase and Oracle) and at least one reporting tool (Actuate, Crystal Reports, Micro Strategy); basic UNIX commands are a plus.
  • Understanding of Trade Life Cycle.
  • Basic knowledge of financial instruments such as Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Swaps, Futures, Options, and FRAs.

Language Requirements:

  • English: C1 Advanced
