As a member of the MySQL Sales Organization, you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic territory to achieve a revenue quota. This role reports to the MySQL EMEA Sales Director. Your primary responsibility will be finding and generating new customers, qualifying, and monetizing community users who would benefit from utilizing MySQL Enterprise services and reserved features.
Responsibilities
This Sales position carries monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. Specific responsibilities include:
- Closing business to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
- Prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and developing sales pipeline
- Engaging in executive-level discussions from VP to CXO
- Enhancing and leveraging internal business relationships to identify and expand additional opportunities
- Expanding commitment and sales bookings of MySQL from existing paying customers
- Working with MySQL Marketing to conduct seminars, webinars, assist with trade shows, and other marketing-related events
- Traveling to customer locations, marketing events, and internal MySQL events as required
- Coordinating the activities of the assigned Technical Sales Consultant to address the technical needs of current and prospective customers
- Understanding customer requirements, level of adoption of the MySQL features, and assessing renewal risk
