Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the MySQL Solution Engineering team focused on driving MySQL adoption.
- Handle a high volume of engagements in the fast-paced open-source database market.
- Maintain strong technical database knowledge and differentiate between varied database approaches (relational, non-relational, in-memory, data warehousing, etc.).
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions, and discussions to drive awareness and adoption of MySQL.
- Identify leads for potential partnerships and customer opportunities in the MySQL community.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define the product roadmap and market positioning for MySQL offerings.
- Support community user groups and developer program initiatives for MySQL.
- Facilitate customer product understanding through presentations, demonstrations, and support throughout the sales process.
- Act as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Solution Engineers.
- Focus on large or complex sales opportunities that require creative and complex solutions.
