NASAMS Sentinel FSR- Qatar

About the Role:
The company Fullerton Field Engineering team supports Sentinel® radars, which serve as the primary air defense radar for the US Army, as well as play a role in the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS®) defense system aimed at several foreign customers. This position involves working as a Field Service Representative (FSR) to support up to fourteen Sentinel Radar systems distributed throughout Qatar, with the FSR's primary support located in Doha, Qatar. The role includes traveling to Qatari military sites to assist the end user and requires readiness for various deployment needs, including vaccinations and pending training before deployment within the continental U.S. (CONUS).

What You Will Do:

• Oversee all installation, testing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for Sentinel Radar systems at assigned locations.
• Collaborate with the Qatar NASMAS in-country team to perform intermediate and depot-level maintenance, fault isolation, alignment, calibration, and repair verification beyond the authorized capability of the Qatar Air Force (QAF) customer for both Sentinel and the High Mobility Launcher (HML).
• Provide regular maintenance support for Sentinel operations, including Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) as outlined in Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM).
• Assist with march order, emplacement tasks, customer event support, and training event support as required.
• Coordinate 400Hz generator power supply to support Sentinel operations.
• Utilize hand tools (e.g., wrenches, grease guns) and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters) in maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain inventory and maintenance records of company spares and test equipment to support 24/7 Sentinel operations.
• Facilitate movement and accountability of Sentinel spares to work locations and complete necessary shipping records.
• Required travel to various customer sites within Qatar.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in operating and maintaining radar systems, including S band and/or X band artillery search and acquisition radar systems (e.g., Firefinder and Sentinel).
• Proficiency with technical manuals, product drawings, and schematics for troubleshooting system failures (minimum 3 years).
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, and digital multimeters (minimum 3 years).
• Willingness to fulfill a minimum 1-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Qatar from the date of arrival.
• Ability to utilize system knowledge and field experience to troubleshoot and resolve Sentinel operational problems.
• Capability to lift 25 lbs and assist with team lifting for up to 75 lbs with appropriate assistance.
• Willingness to work outdoors in extreme climate conditions, including temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Availability for extended workdays and on-call status as scheduled with the Qatar NASMAS in-country team.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• CompTIA Security+ certification is advantageous.
• Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 94M Radar Repairer or equivalent technical training and certification as a radar maintainer.
• Experience working with Middle East customers.
• Leadership experience in advising and assisting with preventative maintenance programs and equipment record keeping.
• Familiarity with military protocol, operational, and tactical procedures associated with air defense systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with the possibility of substituting experience for educational requirements; at least 10 years of related experience acceptable without a degree.

Additional Information:
This role is onsite based in Doha, Qatar, although onboarding will occur in Fullerton, CA. Employees in onsite roles include production and maintenance personnel essential to product development. Candidates may be required to attend parts of the interview process in person at office locations.

The salary range for this position is $95,500 to $181,700, reflecting a good faith estimate for all experience levels. Hired applicants may also be eligible for health benefits and incentives based on individual and company performance.
