The .NET Developer will design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using the Microsoft technology stack, with a strong focus on back-end development. Working closely with product managers, architects and engineers, this role contributes across the software development lifecycle to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
Your key responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack web applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code following SOLID and Clean Architecture principles.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services and systems.
- Implement and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, stored procedures and query performance tuning.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to peers.
- Contribute to technical documentation, solution design and architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes and deliver timely fixes.
What we’re looking for
(a) Required skills / qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience in a full-stack .NET environment.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework 4.x and .NET Core / .NET 8 or above.
- Strong SQL Server experience, including T-SQL, complex queries, indexing and stored procedures.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core or Dapper for data access.
- Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC, Web API and Blazor or equivalent front-end .NET frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Proficiency with Git and branching strategies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and detail-oriented skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
(b) Preferred skills / qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Angular 16+ and component-based architecture.
- Strong command of TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous programming patterns.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, xUnit or NUnit, Moq and integration testing.
- Experience with LINQ and dependency injection.
