NetSuite Engineer

About the Job:
Canonical is a leading provider of open-source software and operating systems for global enterprise and technology markets, known for its platform, Ubuntu. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Engineer with NetSuite experience to join a team dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions for Canonical’s business operations. The Business Systems team is responsible for managing systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce, working closely with operations teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews.
• Learn and understand Canonical’s business processes.
• Depending on seniority, coach and mentor team members.
• Advocate for and implement great engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
• An undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling alternative path.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP systems.
• Professional written and spoken English with strong presentation skills.
• Result-oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments.
• Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks long).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Performance engineering and security experience.
• Experience in accounting, sales, sales operations, or other relevant business roles.

• This is a full-time, remote position based in the EMEA region.
• Distributed work environment with twice-yearly team gatherings in person.
