Position

The company is seeking a Network Administrator in Sigonella, Italy. The CNIC N6 Network Administrator will provide technical support for Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference Center (VTC) systems, while focusing on improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition, analysis, and technical capabilities.

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and administer AV/VTC and network systems.
  • Monitor vendor support status for AV/VTC and network infrastructure to manage End Of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS) issues.
  • Acquire accounts for downloading/upgrading AV/VTC and network operating systems or firmware.
  • Schedule and perform system patching during non-peak times.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
  • Administrative support for scheduling CLASSIFIED and UNCLASSIFIED meetings.
  • Ensure AV/VTC equipment is configured and ready before scheduled sessions.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of WAN, LAN, NAS, SAN, and VPNs.
  • Test designs and configurations to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Serve as backup support for PAC STAR as needed.
  • Provide training and documentation support.

Qualifications:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance required; U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Up-to-date DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification.
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of IT experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in systems requirements, operational requirements, test & evaluation, and training.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Cisco network hardware.
  • Experience with running ACAS scans and completing DISA STIGs.
  • Valid/active U.S. Passport is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as necessary.
