Network Administrator

About the Job:
The company is seeking a Network Administrator for our location in Sigonella, Italy. In this role, you will contribute to improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition, analysis, and technical capabilities development. The primary focus will be on providing technical support to Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference (VTC) systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and administer AV/VTC and network systems, sub-systems, and components.
• Monitor vendor supportability status, particularly for End Of Life (EOL) and End Of Support (EOS) systems, and provide recommendations to minimize issues.
• Manage accounts necessary for downloading and upgrading AV/VTC and network device operating systems or firmware.
• Schedule and perform upgrades during off-peak times.
• Coordinate installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of AV/VTC and network systems.
• Support the development and upgrade of Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), and Storage Area Networks (SAN).
• Configure, maintain, and upgrade firewalls and other network systems.

Qualifications:

• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Up-to-date DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification.
• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, Cyber Security, or related fields, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience with Cisco Network switches/hardware, ACAS scans, and DISA STIG’s.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage network devices effectively.
• Valid/active U.S. Passport required.
• Must be able to travel up to 10%.
