Position

The company is seeking a Network Administrator to make a positive impact at our Sigonella, Italy location. The CNIC N6 Network Administrator role involves providing technical support to Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference Center (VTC) systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and administering AV/VTC and network systems.
  • Monitoring the supportability status of AV/VTC and network infrastructure, particularly focusing on End Of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS) issues.
  • Managing accounts for downloading and upgrading operating systems or firmware for AV/VTC and network devices.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of AV/VTC and network systems.
  • Ensuring AV/VTC equipment is ready and configured prior to scheduled sessions.
  • Supporting network infrastructure design and maintenance including WAN, LAN, and VPN solutions.
  • Providing backup support to the Network Administrator.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active U.S. DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • An up-to-date DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification.
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with systems requirements, operational requirements, test & evaluation, and training.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Cisco network switches/hardware.
  • Knowledge in running ACAS scans and completing DISA STIGs on network devices.
  • Valid/active U.S. Passport.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
