Network Administrator

About the Job:
The company is looking for a Network Administrator at our Sigonella, Italy location. The CNIC Regional Offices aim to enhance operational performance and cost reductions through defined business processes, analytics, and development of technical capabilities. The Network Administrator will provide technical support to Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference (VTC) systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and administer AV/VTC and network systems.
• Monitor and assess AV/VTC and network infrastructure vendors' support status, especially regarding End Of Life (EOL) and End Of Support (EOS) issues, and provide recommendations.
• Acquire accounts for downloading or upgrading AV/VTC and network device operating systems or firmware.
• Schedule and perform necessary downtime for patching or upgrades with minimal user disruption.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and administration of AV/VTC and network systems.
• Ensure AV/VTC and network equipment are ready and configured for meetings.
• Support the development and maintenance of Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), and network monitoring solutions.
• Implement and maintain firewalls and disaster recovery networks.
• Test designs and configurations to ensure they meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Act as a backup for the Network Administrator and provide training and documentation support.

Qualifications:

• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Up-to-date DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification.
• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with systems requirements, operational requirements, test & evaluation, and training.
• Ability to troubleshoot Cisco network switches/hardware.
• Experience with ACAS scans and DISA STIGs.
• Valid/active U.S. Passport required.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
