We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Managed Services department, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure while ensuring the highest level of security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement scalable and resilient network solutions.
  • Deploy and manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Ensure network availability, reliability, and performance meet or exceed business requirements.
  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard the organization's network and data.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits, addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Design, configure, and manage firewalls to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Implement and manage VPN solutions to provide secure remote access as per project requirements.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
  • Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future network needs and recommend enhancements.
  • Implement and manage intrusion detection and prevention systems to identify and mitigate security threats.
  • Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Expertise in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
