The Opportunity
As a Network Control Specialist Engineer at the company, you will focus on project engineering by designing, communicating, and implementing operational plans for engineering-based projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing designs, project controls, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, and overseeing the production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of new infrastructure or facilities. You will monitor progress and performance against the project plan and take action to resolve operational problems, minimizing delays.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Serve as the reference engineering resource to support local and regional service organizations.
- Provide high-level support for local customers, ensuring smooth operation of the Network Manager system and network.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Network Manager.
- Offer user support, training, and assistance in using applications and software programs as needed.
- Participate in technical leadership roles for new projects with existing customers, including system upgrades, hardware and networking renovations, and new functionality deployments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Uphold the company’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in Network Manager system engineering.
- Participation in at least 3 Network Manager upgrade or new deployment projects.
- 3+ years in Network Manager system maintenance and integration.
- Expertise in SCADA-RTU integration and protocols: IEC 60870-5-101/104, MODBUS TCP/RTU, DNP3, ICCP, OPC UA/DA, MQTT.
- Strong knowledge of networking and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is a plus.
