Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategies to achieve optimal network performance, reliability, and security while identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and deploy new network solutions and enhance the resilience of the existing network environment.
- Build network infrastructure by designing system configurations, overseeing installations, and defining/enforcing system standards.
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, proxy servers, DNS, DHCP, and WAN accelerators.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues, collaborating with network architects to optimize the network.
- Analyze data traffic and forecast network growth, upgrading equipment as necessary.
- Ensure all alerts are addressed promptly in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Administer firewall environments, perform disaster recovery operations, and report network statuses.
- Design high-performance, resilient, and secure network architectures for Smart City infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, or Fortinet NSE are a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally at least 50% based on business needs and project requirements.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in network administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure & protocols, network security & firewall administration, and cloud networking & infrastructure.
- Proficient in using NOC tools for network monitoring and performance optimization.
- Ability to implement predictive analytics for network capacity planning.
