Network Engineer

Core42, a leader in AI-powered cloud and digital infrastructure, is seeking a Network Engineer to implement network and security infrastructures across Data Center, On-Prem, Campus, and Public Cloud environments, with a main focus on Azure cloud. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and integrating Network Security infrastructures, participating in technical workshops, project planning, vendor engagements, client interactions, deployment and configuration, as well as maintaining network and security infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Data Center networking technologies, including spine & leaf topology with Cisco ACI and Juniper Apstra, and SDN solutions such as VMware NSX-T.
• Implement Core and Perimeter firewalls from various technology providers (Cisco, Palo-Alto, Fortinet, Juniper) in on-prem and Public Cloud environments.
• Manage network and security environments on Public Clouds, primarily Azure, including Landing-Zone and related components.
• Migrate on-prem infrastructure to public/private cloud environments.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of Azure resources, ensuring alignment with Azure Well Architected framework.
• Implement Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and other security monitoring tools.
• Develop and maintain low level design documents, network-security diagrams, configuration guides, and test plans.
• Collaborate with technology providers and support the implementation team during deployment phases.
• Plan and execute the Operation Readiness process and Handover to end-user.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification (Must).
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification (Must).
• Palo Alto or Fortinet NSE Certification (Must).
• Minimum of 4 to 7 years' experience in the Network Security field.
• Hands-on experience with designing and implementing network security environments on Azure.
• Strong skills in producing and maintaining technical documentation such as HLD, LLD, and Network diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Infrastructure Automation tools (Terraform and Ansible).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI).

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is generally required in professional settings.
