To support the continued development of our datacenter infrastructure and network reliability, we are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This role is essential for designing, securing, and maintaining a resilient enterprise network that supports our critical services and clients.

Main Responsibilities:

Datacenter Network Design & Implementation:
- Design small to medium enterprise network architecture with high availability and redundancy.
- Plan, configure, and maintain Cisco Layer 2/3 network infrastructure, including StackWise setups.
- Implement network segmentation using VLANs, trunking, routing protocols, and EtherChannel.

Cisco Network Device Management:
- Manage and monitor Cisco Catalyst switches (9200/9300 series).
- Perform regular updates, backups, and switch configuration audits.
- Troubleshoot switching, routing, and performance issues.

Firewall & Network Security Management:
- Administer Fortinet FortiGate firewalls including HA clusters, policy creation, NAT, and VPN.
- Monitor firewall logs and alerts; fine-tune IPS, application control, and threat protection.
- Ensure network perimeter security and assist with incident response.

Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with system administrators, DevOps, and infrastructure teams on integrated projects.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for network-related incidents.
- Participate in DR planning, capacity assessments, and network improvement initiatives.

Documentation & Process Improvement:
- Maintain network diagrams, asset inventories, and change documentation.
- Contribute to the refinement of network management practices and policies.
Required Profile:

Essential Skills:
- Strong command of Cisco IOS for enterprise network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience in stack configuration and switch clustering (Cisco StackWise).
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewall deployment and HA cluster configuration.
- Solid knowledge of network design principles, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
- Familiar with secure datacenter network practices and monitoring techniques.

Nice-to-Have Skills (not mandatory):
- Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or FortiAnalyzer.
- Familiarity with configuration management or network automation (e.g., Ansible, NetBox).
- Basic scripting for network automation or diagnostics (bash, Python).

- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Good documentation habits and attention to detail.
- Proficient communication in English (written and spoken).
