Network Engineer

The company is seeking a highly skilled and solution-oriented Network Engineer to develop and enhance network platform capabilities. This role will support and improve business processes by creating new solutions or modifying existing ones.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies to achieve optimal network performance, reliability, and security while identifying areas for improvement.
• Develop and deploy new network solutions and enhance the resilience of the existing network environment.
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, proxy servers, DNS, DHCP, and WAN accelerators.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues, and collaborate with network architects to optimize the network.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, and Compliance policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, or Fortinet NSE are a plus.
• Willingness to international travel at least 50% as required by the role, based on business needs and project requirements.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in network administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Skills

• Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, STP).
• Proficient in network security and firewall administration (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
• Knowledge of cloud networking (Azure/AWS) and incident management tools.
• Familiarity with NOC operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
