The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure. This role requires expertise in configuring and managing network devices, ensuring network security, and troubleshooting connectivity issues to guarantee high availability and optimal performance across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, access points, firewalls, PBX, and load balancers.
- Manage and maintain biometric systems, telephony PBX systems, and CCTV systems.
- Monitor network performance, proactively identify bottlenecks, and mitigate potential security risks.
- Implement and manage VPNs, wireless networks, and remote access solutions.
- Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and network optimization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support server and application deployments.
- Manage network security, including firewall rule configurations, intrusion detection/prevention, and patching.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate with vendors for timely resolution.
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and operational processes for internal use.
- Perform regular network backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend networking technologies and upgrades.
- Provide 24/7 operation support on-site or on-premise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 years of proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
- Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
- Proficiency with network monitoring and analysis tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Zabbix.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions and VoIP systems.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust and modern network security practices.
Work Conditions:
- On-site, full-time role.
- 24/7 operational support required.
