Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategies for optimal network performance, reliability, and security.
- Develop and deploy new network solutions and enhance the resilience of existing networks.
- Build network infrastructure by designing system configurations and overseeing installations.
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, proxy servers, DNS, DHCP, WAN accelerators).
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with network architects to optimize network efficiency.
- Analyze firewall logs and administer firewall environments in compliance with IT security policies.
- Perform disaster recovery operations and ensure compliance with quality and security standards.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Certifications from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, or Fortinet NSE are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally at least 50% of the time as required by business needs.
Skills and Attributes:
- Expertise in network protocols and infrastructure (Routing & Switching, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Network Security).
- Strong understanding of NOC operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and infrastructure (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
