About the Job: The company is seeking a forward-thinking engineering leader with technical skills in the area of production network operations and OEM vendor management to join the Edge and Network Services (ENS) Operations organization. In this position, you will lead initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reliability, and risk management through process, systems, and data within one of the largest scale networks worldwide. Responsibilities:

  • Incident Response: Investigate complex technical and process issues for global infrastructure during major incidents.
  • Escalation Management: Participate in Tier 3 and 4 on-call rotation to improve processes and reduce escalations.
  • Operational Leadership: Drive improvement and compliance with network standards through team management.
  • Information and Data Assurance: Manage operational documentation and ensure data accuracy.
  • Automation: Analyze operational events for new automation opportunities to improve fault remediation.
  • Data Measurement: Drive quality metrics for reporting and analysis to maximize ROI.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Work with internal teams and vendors to address operational needs.
  • Roadmap Ownership and Strategy: Oversee the planning and execution of organizational strategies.
  • Technical Leadership: Conduct root cause analysis and provide corrective actions for operational issues.
  • Business Ownership: Manage interactions with third-party vendors.
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional infrastructure projects.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication across various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Risk Management and Assurance: Ensure operational designs align with reliability and security policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in global network or infrastructure operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, etc.) and infrastructure design.
  • Proven experience in Network Operations Center environments.
  • Expertise in vendor partnerships and project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Knowledge of engineering digital transformation initiatives and AI tools.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficient in English.

Location: Denver, CO (On-site)
Work Conditions: Full-time, On-site
Salary Range: $162,000/year - $227,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Travel: International and Domestic travel required up to 15 percent
