Network IT Security Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Network IT Security Consultant with a strong background in network security operations, administration, and support roles. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding of Network Security Concepts and technologies.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC.
• Knowledge of network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and Zero Trust Architecture.
• Secure network design principles with expertise in the OSI model, TCP/IP stack, routing & switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, STP), VLANs, ACLs, NAT, and subnetting.
• Proficiency in security tools such as firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet), IDS/IPS (Snort, Suricata, Cisco Firepower), SIEM solutions (Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm), and others.
• Ability to analyze logs for incident response and threat hunting using packet capture tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Implementation of security solutions and handling of documented security incidents.

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in IT network security.
• Strong communication, documentation, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages may be considered advantageous.
