Network Management (Netka) Engineer

About the Role This position involves providing advanced diagnostics at the system, application, and infrastructure levels, ensuring smooth operational functionality. You will be responsible for conducting root-cause analysis for major and recurring incidents and implementing permanent fixes. Additionally, you will open and manage OEM back-to-back support cases while adhering to the same ticket and SLA clock. Responsibilities include: - Carrying out configuration, firmware, and software maintenance, while coordinating manufacturer releases and upgrades. - Overseeing preventive maintenance procedures and predictive monitoring for the system. - Maintaining design documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the knowledge base, while mentoring and signing off on Level-2 competence. - Providing technical assessments to the Change Advisory Board for proposed changes to the system. - Operating and maintaining NETKA, which includes managing device inventory, thresholds, and alerting, as well as investigating monitoring gaps. Requirements - Netka platform training. - ITIL Foundation certification. - A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
