Our Cloud Design & Engineering team is instrumental in building customizable cloud solutions that enhance PwC’s digital capabilities. This team leads the development of secure technology solutions and platforms to deliver digital products to the cloud, utilizing DevOps practices and the latest cloud technology while adhering to firm compliance standards.
Requirements
- A solid understanding of networking and core Internet protocols.
- Deep understanding of Network Fundamentals: OSI & TCP/IP models, DNS, DHCP, TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, and Core Network Components.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Switching and Routing Technologies.
- Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
- Good understanding of Cloud technologies such as SD-WAN, FWaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex network environments.
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships and understand client requirements.
- Ability to deliver against deadlines and agreed targets.
- University degree in Computer Science/Telecom or equivalent.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, with CCNP knowledge preferred.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Enterprise Network technologies.
- Strong technical expertise in networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, security, firewalls, and wireless networking.
- ITIL certification is preferred.
Main Role and Responsibilities
- Network Infrastructure Planning and Design: Develop and implement strategies for designing and upgrading enterprise network infrastructure to meet business requirements.
- Network Operations and Maintenance: Manage daily operations, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues to minimize downtime.
- Capacity Planning and Optimization: Assess network capacity and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
- Network Security Management: Implement robust network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with network equipment vendors and service providers to ensure service delivery meets organizational requirements.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
