Position

The role holder is responsible for overseeing operations of all network elements and services across all domains, including Fixed, Mobile, Core, Transport, Firewall, and Special Services. They will manage network integration, provide T3 support, prepare for emergencies, and develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans. The position involves implementing security standards, managing software upgrades, and ensuring the resolution of vulnerabilities and bugs, all in accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure supporting 24x7 all network elements and services (All Domains, Fixed, Mobile, Core, Transport, Firewall, Special services).
  • Manage network element integration and backup.
  • Provide T3 support for critical cases.
  • Prepare for emergency and special events.
  • Develop & ensure deployment of the contingency plans for disasters.
  • Create business continuity, disaster recovery, and resiliency plans when needed.
  • Conduct threat management and implement security standards.
  • Deploy scripts for network enhancement depending on the scope.
  • Ensure bug and issue resolution via patch loading.
  • Manage minor software upgrades for network elements.
  • Develop preventive maintenance procedures to enhance customers’ experience.
  • Ensure all elements vulnerabilities are fixed and aligned with security guidelines.
  • Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reports for all back office activities and related incidents.
  • Collaborate and interface with other groups within SEA Sector and with other external sectors (e.g. TUs sectors, BUs, etc.).
  • Ensure applying and supporting the company's Revenue Assurance business changes (Tariff, promotions, events, etc.) and the company's internal/external auditing guidelines.
  • Manage failed orders analysis, participate in RTTS TT review, projects meetings, Change Management meetings, and IT Failed Orders committee.
  • Manage launching the company's promotions and offers on IN, Messaging, SDP & VAS Applications.
  • Conduct audits and ensure all elements configurations for all domains.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 - 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Prior experience within the Telecommunication industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology is an advantage.
  • Relevant certification in Advanced Project Management (PMP).
  • Relevant certification in operational excellence (e.g. Six Sigma Certification or any relevant certification).
