Job Description
- Lead the team of Network Engineers.
- Support production networks across domestic, international, and public clouds.
- Perform network administration and performance tuning.
- Manage high-availability operations and network performance.
- Identify and fix security vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with vendors/OEMs.
- Participate in application DR activities from the Networks side.
- Handle major incidents/Severity 1 calls and lead them to resolution across multiple teams.
- Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Adhere to the Change Management Process.
- Mentor team members and junior engineers.
- Implement industry-best practices through Service Improvement Plans.
- Document risks/SPOF in network designs.
- Actively participate in various technology projects as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) from the Network Operations team.
- Work across multiple Service Delivery Teams.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in Networking design and Operations.
- Ability to coach and guide a team of engineers.
- Skilled in identifying requirements and creating a solution architecture that meets those requirements.
- Provide specialized hardware/software/network problem diagnosis/resolution for the bank’s network.
- Knowledge of AWS and AZURE architectural principles and key networking services.
- Ability to integrate as a cross-functional team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in design/configuration/deployment of network projects.
- Expertise in routing, switching, wireless technologies, and corresponding protocols.
- Knowledgeable in NAT, VPN, encryption methods, and technologies, including MPLS Configuration.
- Familiar with Network Access Control technologies and WAN Optimization.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performing Root Cause Analysis for various technologies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to implement changes proactively and reactively to prevent problems.
- Hands-on experience in designing interactive applications or automation solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to visualize processes and outcomes.
- Experience in system performance monitoring and tuning.
- Ability to integrate new software with existing systems.
- Capable of developing test plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Recommend changes in policies and procedures as necessary.
