Network Optimization Officer

About the Role
Use analytical and data mining techniques to support the Network Optimization unit in identifying revenue-maximizing opportunities. The role involves developing and documenting actions taken by the network optimization and revenue management teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of strategies formulated by the network optimization teams.
• Summarize and visualize results, highlighting insights and opportunities.
• Document all ad-hoc and structural changes and measure revenue results for all network capacity changes.
• Review network constrained and unconstrained demand from PROS and propose capacity shifts.
• Monitor the build on new frequencies and routes, updating the network team accordingly.
• Coordinate internally to obtain capacity restrictions and ensure the Revenue Management System (RMS) is updated in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 3 years of experience in a complex, numerate, and analytical environment; experience in the airline industry is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and query tools, including at least 2 of the following: SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid experience in business analysis, including at least 2 of the following: segmentation, regression analysis, clustering, forecasting, web analytics.
