Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage cybersecurity solutions including SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, Antivirus, and Proxy platforms.
- Analyze, investigate, classify, and respond to security alerts and incidents.
- Escalate incidents in accordance with established incident response procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams and system owners during incident investigations and remediation activities.
- Perform threat monitoring, threat hunting, and security event analysis.
- Create and maintain SIEM use cases, correlation rules, and detection content.
- Handle cybersecurity-related service requests and user support activities.
- Monitor compliance with organizational cybersecurity standards and controls.
- Process and track incidents reported through regulatory and cybersecurity authorities.
- Prepare incident reports, operational dashboards, and monthly security summaries.
- Support system maintenance, upgrades, and continuous improvement of security operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SOC Operations, Cybersecurity Monitoring, or Incident Response.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of security operations, threat detection, and incident management.
- Experience with EDR, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Antivirus, and endpoint security technologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+
- CEH
- CySA+
- GCIH
- SC-200
- Certifications in Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or Microsoft Sentinel.
