Job Purpose:
The Network & Security Cloud Principal is responsible for the design, implementation, and protection of enterprise IT infrastructure across complex network environments spanning data centers, cloud, and hybrid platforms. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of critical systems while leveraging deep expertise in advanced networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, cloud interconnects) and enterprise security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, VPN, NAC, SIEM). As a subject matter expert, the role leads network optimization, security architecture design, incident response, and compliance initiatives. It also involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and driving the adoption of modern frameworks such as Zero Trust, automation, and cloud-native security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build the company networks & security while considering bandwidth requirements and security.
- Participate in the implementation of network & security designs ensuring solutions meet requirements.
- Lead network & security modeling, utilizing existing network traffic information and estimating network growth.
- Focus on the effects of new equipment on network & security performance and provide recommendations for upgrades.
- Ensure security equipment is installed at precise network locations.
- Manage and monitor the network & security systems, making necessary adjustments for smooth operations.
- Lead system network & security scheduled maintenance to avoid downtime due to networking issues.
- Maintain a proper record of designed networks, including drawings and equipment configurations.
- Review and approve changes in the company infrastructure from a network and security perspective.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years as a lead.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering.
- Experience in network operations, security, projects, design, and architecture.
- CCIE certification in security or routing and switching.
- Experience with firewalls (Fortinet & Palo Alto) and F5.
- Fin-tech background is preferred.
- Experience in telecom provider connectivity and technologies.
