Network Security Engineer

As a Network Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include assisting in security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans while providing detailed reports and recommendations. You will monitor security events and incidents, managing and responding to threats as necessary, and support the implementation of security policies to ensure they are understood and followed by all staff. Collaboration with the security team is essential to maintain and update security documentation, as well as contributing to incident response activities and assisting with investigations and documentation of findings. You'll also provide input into security strategy and risk management processes, stay informed about security trends and best practices, and contribute to security awareness training for employees.

To be considered for this role, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required, along with typically 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role. Proven expertise in information security analysis, along with proficiencies in security technologies and risk assessment, is essential. The ideal candidate will be a continuous learner who stays abreast of industry knowledge and technology. An advanced degree and relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent would be advantageous.
