Network Security, Senior Engineer

About the Role
The position involves being a part of SOOR, a subsidiary of the company, focused on delivering advanced cybersecurity and secure infrastructure solutions. The role requires a seasoned Network Security Senior Engineer with the technical expertise to implement, configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network and cybersecurity solutions. Candidates should be adept at handling technical projects, providing professional services, and supporting customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain network security solutions.
• Deploy and manage security solutions from vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Forcepoint.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewall policies, NAT, IPsec/SSL VPN, SD-WAN, and High Availability (HA) setups.
• Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot EDR, NDR, DLP, Proxy, and email security solutions, ensuring integration with existing security infrastructure.
• Support network infrastructure encompassing switches, routers, VLANs, and wireless networks.
• Conduct security assessments, configuration reviews, and security hardening processes.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues effectively.
• Engage in security hardening and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Perform firmware upgrades, system migrations, and security solution integrations.
• Prepare technical documentation, including implementation plans and as-built documents.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network security.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks.
