Network Security Specialist

About the Job:
As a Network Security Specialist, you will lead, deliver, implement, and maintain end-to-end network and security infrastructure solutions using both on-premises and cloud technologies. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining the security posture and resilient network across the entire network and security landscape.

Key responsibilities involve:

• Recommending and driving changes in response to technology trends and business needs or audits.
• Managing project workloads and ensuring deliverables are met within agreed time and cost constraints.
• Performing routine maintenance, failover tests, and drills to monitor the network against established thresholds and BCP benchmarks.
• Executing proactive incident response within SLAs, as well as maintaining RCAs and knowledge bases.
• Assisting with the development and management of network and security budgets while aligning with IT risk management initiatives and corporate audits.

Required Experience:
Hands-on experience required on platforms including:

• Cisco Catalyst and Nexus (ACI and NX-OS modes) (Mandatory)
• Aruba, Cisco, and Ruckus enterprise wireless systems (Mandatory)
• Fortinet, Palo-Alto, FTD, Juniper, and Sophos Next-Gen Firewalls (Mandatory)
• Cisco and FortiGate SD-WAN solutions (Mandatory)
• Cisco ISR routers (Mandatory)

Desirable experience includes:

• WAF and ADC solutions (Citrix, F5, Sophos, and Azure GW)
• Blade-switching (Oracle Exadata, Synergy, IBM-Blade)
• Cisco and Ribbon enterprise telephony systems and voice gateways
• Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE, and NetScout, 802.1X NAC and AAA solutions
