Arista Networks is the pioneer and industry leader in the delivery of software-driven Cloud Networking and programmable switches for Data Center and Campus networks. We are experiencing tremendous growth and have an immediate need for a collaborative, self-motivated Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer or Network Architect. This role involves partnering with our Account teams to provide pre-sales technical systems engineering support for our enterprise, commercial, and SP customers in the KSA and UAE region. The Systems Engineer plays a critical role in the Arista Sales team by acting as a trusted advisor for our customers, gathering requirements, and identifying opportunities with existing and new customers.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Arista Account Managers to understand customer pain points
- Conduct whiteboard network architectural reviews
- Deliver Arista product presentations of our Open Networking Data Center and Cognitive Campus solutions
- Architect, design, and propose Data Center & Campus network solutions using leaf-spine architectures (VxLAN, EVPN)
- Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups and network deployments
- Prepare design guidelines and recommend improvements for supported networks
- Respond to RFP/RFQs in collaboration with the Sales Team
- Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering
- Represent Arista at SDN and Open Networking industry events
- Stay updated on competitive solutions, products, and services
- Author white papers on technology and products
Qualifications
- BS/CS/CE technical degree required
- Network Industry Certification preferred (ACE - Arista Cloud Engineering Certification or equivalent such as CCIE (R&S), JNCIE)
- Minimum of 5+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience
- Strong experience with routing and switching, including L2/L3 protocols
- Recent experience in leaf-spine architecture design
- Demonstrated work experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE, or Network Consulting Engineer preferred
- Good knowledge of Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, Multicast, and QoS
- Familiarity with competitive technologies from Cisco and Juniper
- Experience with industry-standard CLI
- Knowledge of SDN and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) highly desired
- Previous experience building network automation using Python and Ansible desired
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Currently residing in Saudi Arabia with customer knowledge of the region
