Network Technician

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles, collaborating across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. We are looking to hire a Network Technician to join our team within network infrastructure deployment. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the expansion of our next-generation networks.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Networking or Certification in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA)
• Networking deployment experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including network device configuration and low-level application interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent judgment and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on fluctuating needs
• Strong understanding of Ethernet and IP networking
• Additional certification in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA)
