Network Technician, Infrastructure Delivery

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. This position involves working within network infrastructure deployment and driving the expansion of our next-generation networks.

You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate should be highly autonomous, detail-oriented, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in supporting large scale, enterprise-class networks is essential. Excellent network implementation and troubleshooting skills, along with a proven documentation methodology, are required. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to efficiently interact with peers and customers, as well as the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Networking, or Certification in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA)
• Networking deployment experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in cabling, troubleshooting networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including network device configuration and low-level application interaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent judgment and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks based on fluctuating needs
• Strong understanding of Ethernet and IP networking
• Certification in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA)
