Network Technician

About the Job: The Network Technician is responsible for planning and designing telecommunication connectivity among business units. This role involves configuring and supporting all network devices, including switches, wireless access points, routers, and firewalls, and managing network infrastructure projects in accordance with international standards methodologies.

Role Profile:

• Responsible for configuring and supporting all network devices including switches, wireless access points, routers, and firewalls.
• Define and maintain the network and communication standards for all countries.
• Design and set up the network and telecommunication connections between different cities.
• Ensure the availability of communication between various locations (zones, countries, and stores).
• Define and control standards for WAN, LAN, IP schema, voice, and video per the company recommendations.
• Ensure WAN security.
• Coordinate the network and telecommunication aspects of the Disaster Recovery Plan for the entire country.
• Propose management evolutions to support company expansion and integrate the latest technologies.
• Monitor and optimize communications between different locations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related IT field.
• CCNA or CCNP certification is mandatory.
• 2+ years of network experience.
• Cisco certification in Data & Voice.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi and wireless technologies is required.
• Knowledge of network security is essential.
