The role of a Networking Presales Consultant involves providing technical support and expertise in creating and delivering technology solutions to meet customer business needs. This position necessitates establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and deliver in-depth product and technology expertise during deal pursuits. As a subject matter expert in specific products or product lines such as Mobility, Security, or Branch, the consultant is tasked with advising customers on comprehensive technical designs tailored to their business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize knowledge of the unstructured data market and the company Networking portfolio to meet customer business and technical needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, as well as competitor offerings, leveraging this knowledge within the customer’s technical environment.
  • Design network solutions that align with customer business requirements.
  • Engage in in-depth discussions defining value propositions and differentiators while drafting high-level solution designs.
  • Collaborate with account team leaders (the company and Partners) to communicate key value propositions and identify overlooked opportunities.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customer technical teams and executives, understanding their ecosystem and business needs to demonstrate how the company delivers value.

Education and Experience:

  • First-level university technical degree or equivalent related qualifications; advanced degree preferred.
  • Technical experience in IT with emphasis on networking solutions.
  • 3–5 years' experience with network technologies, particularly Juniper technologies.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expertise in identifying and leveraging networking opportunities.
  • Strong consultative and value selling skills.
  • Familiarity with the indirect selling model, including direct and collaborative engagement with partners.
  • Business and financial acumen regarding sales cycle, pipeline growth, and strategic business influence.
