News Producer

About the Role
The News Producer will be responsible for the creative development, production, and content quality of assigned programs. This role involves constructing fresh, informative, and compelling newscasts, summaries, and updates, as well as covering special events. The News Producer ensures that all content is balanced and aligns with the mission goals of the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative and engaging news content for on-air broadcasts.
• Produce newscasts, summaries, and updates, ensuring high editorial standards.
• Coordinate coverage of special events as assigned.
• Collaborate with the news team to ensure cohesive and timely delivery of news content.
• Maintain quality control of footage and ensure the news reflects the values of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or broadcast journalism preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience producing television newscasts.
• Excellent Arabic writing skills.
• Working knowledge of and ability to use video editing systems.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Solid news judgment.
• Ability to work under intense deadline pressure.
• Strong self-discipline and time-management skills.
• Sound editorial and creative judgment is essential.
