NOC Coordinator (UAE National)

The NOC Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Liaising with relevant government agencies, authorities, and the client team to secure necessary approvals and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
• Attending project kick-off and coordination meetings, providing support to the design team throughout the NOC process.
• Monitoring the progress of drawings and documentation related to NOC submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Supporting the project team in obtaining all required approvals in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with clients (internal and external) and liaising with government entities and service authorities across the UAE to address technical queries and resolve issues.
• Tracking the status of utilities NOCs and ensuring completion within the required timeframes.
• Regularly reviewing project schedules to identify potential delays or deviations related to NOC progress and recommending corrective actions.
• Participating in design coordination meetings and contributing to process improvements where necessary.
• Collecting and consolidating information from agencies, consultants, and contractors to prepare accurate weekly and monthly reports, as well as design documentation for management and clients.
• Attending project meetings, providing updates on NOC progress, and following up on outstanding tasks.
• Performing other related responsibilities as required to support successful project delivery.

Required Skills:

• A diploma or degree in engineering from a recognized university (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in NOC coordination, preferably within the infrastructure sector.
• Demonstrated experience liaising with government authorities in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, with a strong understanding of their NOC systems and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A valid UAE driving license and access to a car, as the role requires frequent travel to government offices and service authorities.

Desired Skills:

• Fluent in speaking and writing in Arabic.
