As an NOC Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with relevant government agencies, authorities, and the client team to secure necessary approvals and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
- Attending project kick-off and coordination meetings, providing support to the design team throughout the NOC process.
- Monitoring the progress of drawings and documentation related to NOC submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting the project team in obtaining all required approvals in a timely manner.
- Coordinating with clients (internal and external) and liaising with government entities and service authorities across the UAE to address technical queries and resolve issues.
- Tracking the status of utilities NOCs and ensuring completion within the required timeframes.
- Regularly reviewing project schedules to identify potential delays or deviations related to NOC progress and recommending corrective actions.
- Participating in design coordination meetings, contributing to process improvements where necessary.
- Collecting and consolidating information from agencies, consultants, and contractors to prepare accurate weekly and monthly reports, as well as design documentation for management and clients.
- Attending project meetings, providing updates on NOC progress, and following up on outstanding tasks.
- Performing other related responsibilities as required to support successful project delivery.
Required Skills:
- A diploma or degree in engineering from a recognized university (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in NOC coordination, preferably within the infrastructure sector.
- Demonstrated experience liaising with government authorities in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, with a strong understanding of their NOC systems and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A valid UAE driving license and access to a car, as the role requires frequent travel to government offices and service authorities.
Desired Skills:
- Fluent in speaking and writing in Arabic.
