NOC / Network Operations Engineer

About the Role
This position involves providing advanced diagnostics at the system, application, and infrastructure levels. The role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, with a focus on ensuring system reliability and performance. You will be responsible for conducting root-cause analyses for major and recurring incidents, managing support cases, and overseeing configuration and software maintenance to keep systems up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced diagnostics at the system, application, and infrastructure levels.
• Carry out root-cause analysis for major and recurring incidents and own the permanent fix.
• Open and manage OEM back-to-back support cases under the same ticket and SLA clock.
• Own configuration, firmware, and software maintenance, coordinating manufacturer releases and upgrades.
• Own preventive maintenance procedures and predictive monitoring for the system.
• Maintain design documents, SOPs, and knowledge base; mentor and sign off Level-2 competence.
• Provide technical assessments to the Change Advisory Board for changes to the system.
• Operate 24x7 monitoring, correlate and triage events, and feed incidents into the service; maintain monitoring coverage after changes.

Requirements

• Network monitoring/NMS certification.
• ITIL Foundation.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
