Node.js Automation Engineer (Playwright)

We are looking for a Node.js Automation Engineer (Playwright) with a minimum of 5 years of coding and automation testing experience in JavaScript technologies, particularly Node.js. The candidate should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript and be familiar with various automation testing techniques and tools, such as Playwright, Cucumber, Appium, and Selenium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and test scalable, highly available Node.js applications, RESTful APIs, and Microservices using JavaScript technologies.
• Create end-to-end automation test suites utilizing Playwright/Selenium and preferably adopt a BDD (Behavior Driven Development) approach.
• Practically apply knowledge of GraphQL and integrate API gateways, such as 3Scale.
• Troubleshoot issues in a distributed services ecosystem while well-versed in CI/CD principles.
• Understand containerization technologies, with practical experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement authentication mechanisms like Single-Sign-On, REST, JWT, and OAuth.
• Manage task/message queues using technologies like AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.
