Node.js Developer

We have an immediate vacancy for a Node.js Developer with a minimum of 6 years of experience at the company, based in Dubai. Job Description:

• Education: Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of coding experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and Databases.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in TypeScript.
• Technical Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge in developing scalable and highly-available RESTful APIs using Node.js technologies.
  • Practical experience with GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles, troubleshooting issues in a distributed services ecosystem.
  • Understanding of containerization involving Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with API gateway integrations like 3Scale.
  • Knowledge of Single-Sign-On or token-based authentication (REST, JWT, OAuth).
  • Expertise in task/message queues (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka).
• Functional Skills:
  • Experience in best coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
  • Preferred experience in Banking, Financial, and Fintech in an enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Ability to research and benchmark technology against best-in-class technologies.
• Soft Skills:
  • Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, enhancing productivity.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter capable of driving projects without supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with Senior and Executive management.

English proficiency is expected.
