Node.js Developer

We are seeking a Node.js Developer with a degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of coding experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and databases, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable and highly-available Restful APIs using Node.js technologies.
• Utilize GraphQL for practical application.
• Apply CI/CD principles and actively troubleshoot issues in a distributed services ecosystem.
• Engage in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate API gateways, such as 3Scale.
• Implement Single-Sign-On or token-based authentication methods (Rest, JWT, OAuth).
• Apply knowledge of task/message queues including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
• Experience in Banking, Financial, and Fintech industry preferred.
• Agile methodology knowledge is essential.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, enhancing productivity and effectiveness.
• Self-motivated, self-starter, with the capability to drive initiatives without supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with senior and executive management.
