As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be an integral part of our team, focused on developing Tether's backend components. Your role will include:
- New Products and Features: Continuously creating innovative features to provide the best trading experience for our customers, using agile methodologies.
- Scalability: Ensuring backend services remain smooth, responsive, and real-time as the platform scales to accommodate user growth.
- Security: Upholding the highest security standards in all services and core processes to protect our user base.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience working with Node.js/JavaScript.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Experience in developing complex platforms.
- Knowledge of peer-to-peer technologies.
- Proficiency in database interactions (MySQL, MongoDB).
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Understanding of security practices.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with blockchain integration.
- Comfort with high-availability concepts.
- Skills in Ruby, Rust, or C++.
- Familiarity with technologies such as message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
